PRIVACY POLICY

We handle personal data responsibly and collect as little as possible. This page explains what data Fokus Rengøring ApS processes via our website, why, and what rights you have.

What we collect

The website is mainly static content with no user accounts. There are three places where we process personal data:

1. Contact / quote form

When you fill in our contact form, we ask for:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Address
• Which service you're interested in
• Optional message

The data is used only to get in touch with you about your inquiry, typically to schedule a personal visit from Elisabeth, where we can assess the work and give you a price. If you have accepted cookies and arrived via a Google ad, the ad's click ID is sent along with your inquiry (see section 3).

Legal basis: Processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Retention: Your contact details are kept for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry. If you become a customer, relevant details are kept for the duration of the customer relationship and in line with Danish bookkeeping law (5 years).

2. Web analytics (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics is only loaded if you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner.

When active, GA4 typically collects:

• Your visit (pages, time spent, referring source)
• General device information (browser, operating system, language, approximate geographic location)
• Anonymized IP address (we have IP anonymization enabled)

We do not share this data with any third parties beyond Google itself.

Legal basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Retention: GA4 data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

3. Google Ads measurement (only with your consent)

We advertise on Google. To see whether our ads lead to inquiries, we use Google Ads conversion measurement. It is only active if you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner.

Once you have given consent:

• Google may store ad data in your browser (_gcl_aw, _gcl_ls) and record that your visit came from a click on one of our ads, and whether you then fill in the form or tap our phone, WhatsApp or booking buttons.
• If you arrived via a Google ad, we store the ad's click ID (a random code Google adds to the web address) in your browser. If you fill in the contact form, the click ID is sent along with your inquiry.
• If an inquiry with a click ID leads to a booking, we may report the click ID and the time to Google Ads, so we can see which ads bring in customers. We never send your name, email, phone number or address to Google.

If you choose "Necessary only", nothing from Google is loaded and we do not store the click ID. We do not use your data for personalized ads.

Legal basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Retention: The click ID is used for at most 90 days after the ad click. If it is sent with an inquiry, it is kept together with the inquiry (see section 1). Google is an independent controller for the ad data it collects itself and processes it under Google's privacy policy.

Cookies

We use as few cookies as possible:

• Necessary: A small technical marker in your browser's localStorage (fokus.consent.v1) that remembers your choice in the cookie banner. Contains no personal data.
• With consent: If you accept all cookies, Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_<ID>) and Google's ad measurement (_gcl_aw, _gcl_ls) are loaded. If you arrived via a Google ad, we also store the ad's click ID in your browser's localStorage (fokus.gclid.v1).

You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete Google's cookies and the click ID from your browser.

Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors to run the website and respond to inquiries:

• Google (Firebase Hosting, Firestore, Google Analytics): hosting, data storage, and analytics. For Google Ads, Google is an independent controller (see section 3). See Google's privacy policy.
• Mailgun: email delivery for the contact form. See Mailgun's privacy policy.

We have a data processing agreement with each sub-processor that ensures protection of your information.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Have your information erased ("the right to be forgotten") when there is no legal requirement to retain it
• Restrict or object to the processing
• Have the information delivered in a structured format (data portability)
• Withdraw your consent at any time

Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) if you believe we are processing your data in violation of GDPR:

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, e.g. if we add new features to the site or when laws change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
