Glass and frames — the service most others skip
At Fokus, window cleaning isn't just about the glass. We clean the frames too — that's relatively rare on the Copenhagen market. Many providers only polish the glass, but it's the frame that collects dust, dirt and water marks. We clean both inside and outside, and we wipe down casings, hinges and sills at the same time.

We use professional cleaning supplies and microfiber cloths. Where possible we finish with a streak-free polish so the glass is left without marks or mineral residue.
What we don't do
We don't take on work that requires an outside lift — typically upper-floor windows in tall buildings without balcony access. If that's your situation, we'll refer you to specialists with proper height equipment.
How often should windows be cleaned?
For most homes, two thorough cleans a year — usually in spring and before winter — keeps the windows clear. If you live on a busy street or near the harbour, a quarterly plan often works better. We'll recommend the right interval based on your home and surroundings.
Service deduction
Window cleaning is covered by the Danish servicefradrag (service deduction). We provide proper documentation so you can deduct part of the cost on your annual tax return.

Do you clean the outside on all floors?
We clean the outside up to areas we can reach safely with a standard ladder or from a balcony. For work that requires a lift or height harness, we refer to specialists.
Do I need to provide water or cleaning supplies?
No. We bring everything — equipment and professional cleaning supplies. We only need access to a power outlet and a normal tap.
How long does a typical window cleaning take?
It depends on the number of windows, how accessible they are, and whether the frames and sills need extra attention. We give you a clear time estimate after Elisabeth's free home visit.
Do you clean windows year-round?
Yes. Winter cleaning is often the most important — salt, sleet and rain leave the most residue on glass.
Can I add window cleaning to my regular cleaning plan?
Yes. We offer window cleaning both as a one-off and as part of a regular plan — for example quarterly alongside your recurring cleaning visits.
